First Day of School Gifts

I feel it's important to tell our teachers how thankful we are for what they do....something we have always done at our house is "first day of school is teacher gifts". Each year I try to come up with something I haven't done before, it is usually something I have seen somewhere or got inspiration from. This year the twins are giving their Kindergarten teachers the Pencil Holder. Ashton's going to give her teacher the Crayola Crayon Candy Holder and each child is taking a candy pencil made up of Sweet Tarts, Rollo and a Hershey's kiss. Sure to be a hit!

Alien Treats

Always thought a fun theme for a birthday party would be "Space Aliens." I'm brain storming since Ashton's birthday is a few months away...never to early to start planning, right? We have a Space Aliens resturant filled with great food and games, which makes a fun place to have the party...here are some fun alien treats to add to the bags for a special touch. They were super easy to make and very addicting!! Gotta love peppermint patties...

Amazing

I'm still here...just got a little carried away with landscaping, gardens, family vacations, chasing after the kids and of course the never ending housework. So, today while my husband took the kids to the river I decided to have a little bit of a "me" day. I organized all my retired Stampin' up items and got ready for my new stuff that will be arriving soon. I made a quick card before heading outside to do some more watering. Teacher Gifts

Finished up some fun teacher gifts that I wanted to share with you. I love giving teachers a little something on the last day, to so show how much I appreciate all they do! I found an awesome quick last minute gift idea for teachers "Flower Picks" on a cool web site Skip to My Lou. Here is the link to the site http://www.skiptomylou.org/?s=teacher&x=22&y=25 where you can download & print off your own flower picks, punch them out with an SU Scallop Punch and simply add them to your own flower pot as I did. Gotta love quick. Then my second project, which was also pretty quick I filled a cute jar with smarties...added some SU Ribbon and everyone would be proud of me, I used My Digital Studio to design the labels. YAY! I cut out the apple on the top of the jar with my cricut using my Doodlecharms cartridge. Like I said quick simple teacher gifts. Enjoy!
