Mrs. Frankin' Halloween Coaster Box

My freaky frankin' got lonely....he needed a misses. Here she is! I have 10 more ready to assemble today (Mr & Mrs). I took my first one up to the hospital yesterday because my uncle Art had hip replacement....I thought he could use a few spare body parts. Everyone loved it so much, I thought I would try to sell a few. Since I am not doing anything to get my business going since we moved here a year ago, I thought I could earn a little bit to keep up my quarterly sales....every little bit helps. Hope your having a wonderful fall weekend!

Freaky Frankin' Halloween Treat

I found these freaky Halloween Body Parts Candy today, I knew I had to make a chip board coaster Frankenstein. I purchased over 300 coasters over a year ago and I have made manybe one or two projects out of them, so this project really got me excited! My Freaky Frankin' turned out so cute....I'm heading to Big Lots tomorrow to buy more candy. Maybe I'll finally get rid of these 300 coasters that have been gathering dust!

"Cowgirl" Western Birthday Party

Well today I finally got on my planning hat, Ashton and I hashed out what the best birthday party theme would be for her 7th birthday. It was hard to come up with something to top last year's Pirate Party. (We try to do non gender themes as we do end up inviting boys and girls) We were kind of leaning toward a carnival this year, then after much discussion we agreed on a Western "Cowgirl" Birthday Party. We will be having a Hoe Down (Square Dance), Horse Races, Wild West Shoot Out, Hay Rides, Watermelon Spitting Contest and we can't forget about Panning for Gold. I bought some cute boot sun catchers for them to paint and cowboy boot pinata to bust open. We talked about serving Root Beer or Cactus Juice for drinks and have Licorice Ropes for a snack, I haven't come up with anything clever for the cake or cupcakes. Any ideas let me know!!! (I did see a horse shoe cake pan at hobby lobby~ just don't know how cute that would be??) Anyway, enough details....here is Ashton's Western Birthday Party Invitations.

Whatever...

I saw this cute coffee cup today at Hobby Lobby and I knew I had to have it. (The flower on it reminded me of our Pick a Petal Stamp Set) It was just what I needed for a quick gift for Matt's sister tonight, it's her Birthday! I've been sick with pneumonia along with a respiratory infection for the past week and have been utterly useless....it felt good to at least do something, even though I had to throw it together in a few hours. Hope you enjoy!

No Clever Title Tonight

Due to life taking me by surprise, my son giving me this horrible chest cold, and my hubby gone this week for work. I feel a little overwhelmed.....I got the kids to bed tonight and Adison with her "cute" puppy dog eyes said, "Did you make something for my teacher tomorrow like you did for Ashton." I bolted down stairs to my craft room and got busy....how can I let the my other two down just because I'm tired and sick?? (I should have saw this coming and been more prepared, oh well) This is what I came up with tonight, small diaper fold pouch filled with candies that I wrapped in Bella Designer Paper and 6 (3x3) simple note cards. Enjoy!
