Gift Card Holder

I saw this Coffee Cup somewhere and knew I had to make one myself.  Great "Secret Santa" gift!  I made my own template and I have to admit it turned out pretty cute!  I kept it simple and just attached the Starbucks giftcard with the Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine.  The pretty Snowflake Punch can be found on Stampin' Up Clearance Rack right now, found here.  Enjoy~

Sending Love

I'm so excited for Valentine's Day after making this "Super" cute Mailbox today. I've been hoarding these mail boxes for a couple years now...I think I bought 50 of them at Target at the time. I've used a few, but for sure have a lifetime supply!! This Valentine Gift Set is a donation for a Silent Auction & Chocolate Fantasy Fundraiser for the Abuse Resource Center in Lisbon, ND. I was excited to use all my "New" stamp sets out of the Occasions Mini and I have to confess I LOVE our new acrylic blocks!!!! I can't get enough of them!! What I love is that our SU stamps are still rubber, but they go on and off these awesome acrylic blocks....Super easy to store!! The cases are amazing with the design on the outside, which saves me time when searching for a stamp set. Now if only I could change out my 300+ wood mounted stamp sets sitting in my closet. UGH! If you haven't tried these new stamps...it is a must! Hope everyone is having a fantastic week....Enjoy!

Happy New Year

Happy New Year! Hope everyone is settling into 2010. I'm excited for the new year and everything that it will bring. My first project of 2010 was a Sweet 16 Gift Basket for a family friend. I had so much fun making it! I even got so excited I forgot to take a picture of the matching card because I wanted to get it delivered. The basket included: Cupcake pan, plate, ceramic cupcake filled with chocolate kisses, cake mix, different types of sprinkles, frosting, note pad with matching pens, few cupcake goodies, book on cupcake designs, cupcake liners, "sock cupcakes" and can't forget a matching pink scarf. Yummy! (Scarf is hard to see as I used it for filler to keep everything from falling over inside the basket.) To tie everything together I used Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Paper from Stampin' Up. The Melon Mambo matched the basket perfectly! What a great way to start the New Year!

Whatever...

I saw this cute coffee cup today at Hobby Lobby and I knew I had to have it. (The flower on it reminded me of our Pick a Petal Stamp Set) It was just what I needed for a quick gift for Matt's sister tonight, it's her Birthday! I've been sick with pneumonia along with a respiratory infection for the past week and have been utterly useless....it felt good to at least do something, even though I had to throw it together in a few hours. Hope you enjoy!

Growing Up

Hard to believe our kids can grow up in an instant. I remember when each of my children were born, people would repeatedly say "enjoy every moment because it goes by in a instant"....so true!! I don't know where the time has gone, seems like yesterday the twins were born. They are now 4 and heading off to preschool in a week, Ashton starts first grade tomorrow. I don't know what I am going to do without Ashton by my side all day, I'm sure it will take the twins time to adjust also. They follow her around and bug her most of the day!! I am sad to see them growing up so fast, but excited for them entering this new stage of independence and learning. Tomorrow I'm sure there will many photos taken, in hopes to freeze time as I know it. Later to preserve those memories in my scrapbooks, so someday we can look back on how fast they really did grow up.

Stawberry Basket

I'm back! I squeezed in a couple hours tonight to clean up my craft room and work on a gift for Ashton's 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Woodbury. Ashton's first day of school will be on Thursday, wish me luck getting everyone up in the morning!!! (Our practice run) I finally got around to making those cute strawberries I've been seeing everywhere. (I filled mine with a Hershey Kiss) I have added a link to the pattern, check it out....they are fun and addicting! I also plan on making a matching 3x3 card set to go along with the strawberry basket tomorrow if I have time. I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel....

Deer Friends, New Hostess

I made five 3x3 Gift Cards for a box gift set for a "Dear Friend". (No pun intended) I had plans of designing the box, but in the midst of my creativity my girl friend, Kari called and invited our family to the lake. So, I decided the box will have to wait.....I am posting a sneak peek at the gift set quick before I jump out of my jammies and get ready for the day. Yes, I am still in my jammies I got so excited about all my new stampin' supplies, I had to start playing right away this morning and lost track of time. One more thing before I forget, I added a link to Stampin' Up discounted retired accessories, check it out 25% off!!! Have a great weekend!

Project Supplies: Deer Friends (New Level II Hostess Set), Bella Rose Designer Paper (New), Kiwi Kiss, Red Riding Hood and Chocolate Chip Cardstock, SU Ribbon, Chocolate Chip Ink, Punches and Dimensionals.
