More Christmas Cards....

I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas.....I finally got a chance to go through the piles of mail we have been getting this past week. I loved reading all the Christmas letters and seeing all the wonderful picture cards....Thank You! I thought I better share a few more hand stamped cards I got. The scanner had a hard time tonight, so they didn't come out the best....At least you get an idea.

Card #1: Created by Treena Shearer, the blue snow flakes did not scan in...(sorry), the inside of her card is as cute as the outside...it says Wishing you loads of cheer. She stamped a girl in a pick up with presents in the back with trees in the background.

Card #2: Created by Jennifer Kettering, How silently, how silently the wondrous gift is given. The Christmas tree on the front is silver embossed and really pops! The blue snow flakes around the Christmas Tree did not scan. I think my scanner hates blue!

Card #3: Created by Angelynn Kaye Lyons-Reiger, Hark the Herald Angels Sing. She has added mulberry paper, cranberry color ribbon along with gold string.
Inside says: May the miracle of Christmas fill your heart with joy. (Love that saying)

Today I got creative and made fridge magnets out of chipboard coasters for all my club gals, this is our last month. I thought I would do something special for them.....Also it is a fun way to show off our awesome new papers and Level 3 hostess set, that everyone can start earning in January. The new catalog is awesome and should be in your hands January 1st if you pre-ordered.

My Punches Finally Have a Home....

Well, Matt finally got around to getting my towel bars put up in my craft room for my "MANY" punches. The only problem is I need one more towel bar, as I have punches still sitting on my desk. (Wal-mart is out for another week). I bought the cheapest towel bars I could find, they work perfect! I put a couple medium size punches on so you can see how the other size fits. I love to be able to just reach over and get the punch I want instead of digging through all the punches in a tote beside my desk. (Big time saver, as I LOVE to use punches) After Christmas I look forward to painting and finish organizing my craft room....this was a great start. Thanks Matt!!

I Love Christmas Cards....

Today I finally got time to scan in the two hand stamped cards I got. They were both adorable and hanging on my fridge.....I love hand stamped cards. This year I'm sad to say I only did half of my Christmas cards hand stamped, the other half were picture cards. I know I cheated! I hope to do better next year!! Hope everyone is having FUN and enjoying the holiday season.

Merry Christmas

Card #1: Created by Veronica Woodward (Wishing you a season of happy smiles)

Card #2: Created by Shelly Roberts, my Stampin' Up Manager (Picture Card with her beautiful family....Joy expressed, Love shared, a Miracle celebrated). They are looking forward to adopting their second child any day from Ethiopia.

Winter Paint Cans

Matt came to me the other night wanting ideas for gifts for his bosses. We talked about it for a couple days.....wanting to give something masculine, but something a little more then a gift card. Then I remembered my dad's famous Chocolate Chip Cookies that everyone just loves. Then I go the perfect idea!! Filling covered paint cans with cookies....so I got busy tonight covering the paint cans up. I wanted to keep them very simple, not a lot too fancy. I had fun making them....I got three done tonight and have three more to go. I wish I would have more designer dashing paper on hand, it is my favorite....Enjoy!

Project Supplies: Paint Cans (Menard's), SU Designer Paper (Card stock is a little too stiff for this project), glue dots, sticky tape for behind the embellishment and double stick tape to put the designer paper onto the can with, plus Misc. Stamps

Advent Calendar

I'm so sorry ladies I forgot this at Shelly's last night. I was so proud of this calendar, I had been working on it for a week and finally the day before club I finished it at 2am. Then I forgot it!! (Sorry) Things have been a little stressful for me with clearing out the books for Park Board, Christmas right around the corner, keeping up with the kids and trying to get settled. I'm a little overwhelmed! I hope everyone had a fun night in spite of my brain freeze! It was great seeing everyone again, I love familiar faces. Thank you June, you once again out did your self on the deserts, WOW!

Anyway, I attached direction on how to make the Advent Calendar under my links section. The canvas I purchased at Hobby Lobby for 40% off, buy lots of sticky tape as it will stick well and you won't have to worry about it coming off when you pull the tins off. I need to come up with something creative to put over the day you are on, so you don't have to remove the tins....just take the goodies out??? (Something I'll think about for awhile). I just think it is so cute, why take it apart! Tins I found at Party America for $10 for 12 tins, but I also heard Michael's has them and you can use a 40% off coupon. Hobby Lobby did not have them, you may also want to check online?! I cut the numbers out with my cricut and if you would like to make a calendar and would like the numbers cut out....I would gladly do that for you. I found that easier and saved me a LOT of cutting. I used Stampin' Up's Designer Papers, Scallop Punch, Circle Punches, Big Deal Alphabet Stamp Set, Markers and Certainly Celery Print Papers to make this Calendar.

Happy Stamping!
